Mechanical Ceramic & Granite Façade Connectors
The most critical components ensuring porcelain ceramic, granite and natural stone claddings are safely installed on building façades — without risk of sagging or falling — are façade clips and anchors. Selecting the correct connector matched to the cladding material weight and joint structure is vital for structural safety and aesthetics throughout the building's life, as external façades are exposed to wind load, seismic movement, vibration and high thermal expansion. Stainless steel façade clips and aluminium/sheet anchor models manufactured by Hira Metal on advanced press lines to international building and safety standards feature millimetre-precision locking tabs and flexible construction for flawless, fast installation on site.
Mechanical Ceramic Façade Clips (Stainless Steel)
- Single Clip & Starter Clip: Base-line fixings used at the lowest course of the façade where the first ceramic is seated, or at finishing edges, providing single-direction grip.
- Horizontal Double Clip: Twin-tab clip that grips both adjacent panels from right and left at the horizontal joint line between two side-by-side ceramic panels.
- Vertical Double Clip: Fixing element that locks upper and lower panels in a single line at the vertical joint between stacked ceramic panels.
- 4-Point Clip (Quad Clip): The most critical clip, used at the cross-junction where four ceramic panel corners meet. Distributes load equally in four directions.
- Intermediate Clip: An additional connector placed behind ceramics or at panel mid-points as an anti-deflection reinforcement support point.
- Joint Spacer (Clip Spring): Auxiliary spring placed between clips to prevent rattle from wind or seismic movement and maintain equal joint gaps.
Heavy-Duty Stone and Granite Connectors
- Granite Connection Anchor: A heavy-duty anchor designed for thick granite slab mounting, passing through channels cut in the stone faces to transfer high-tonnage loads to the main structure.
- Z Anchor: Mechanical fixing element bolted to floor slab edges or reinforced concrete surfaces in stone and granite façade projects. Z geometry maximises load torque with plumb and depth adjustment.
Why Hira Metal?
- Direct Factory Wholesale: As a manufacturer, we offer the most competitive pricing for large site projects, subcontractors and façade distributors.
- AISI 304/316 Stainless & Alloy Quality: Lifetime corrosion resistance against acid rain, moisture, humidity and air pollution on external façades.
- Zero-Defect Tooling and Flexibility Balance: Precision tooling prevents micro-cracking; the ideal balance of flexibility and rigidity ensures no breakage during installation and no thermal-induced stone cracking.
